About the course

This course is for people who care about their work, are good at their jobs, and are sometimes frustrated that their day-to-day realities don’t match the big-picture. It’s about re-crafting your job to take advantage of your best possible self.

You’ll learn evidence-based techniques and tools from the field of positive psychology to find pleasure in the little things and rediscover what you love about your job. You’ll learn how to live your values, your passions and your strengths every day; how to build high quality relationships; how to set exciting goals; and how to bounce back better when things get in your way.

This course requires you to try things out, take some risks, and have more fun at work. Only sign up if you’re prepared to participate.

Who is Andrew Soren 

Andrew is a graduate of, and Assistant Instructor at, the University of Pennsylvania's internationally renowned Master of Applied Positive Psychology. A certified leadership coach, Andrew is passionate about meaning, culture and community. He started his career producing theatre and dance in Toronto, and then moved into the corporate world. For the past decade, Andrew has worked for BMO Financial Group. After managing some of the company’s largest sponsorships in the arts, sports, and cause marketing, he made the transition to leadership development, designing initiatives to change the culture of the bank, and training thousands of managers in the art of coaching and applied behavioural science. Currently, Andrew is Senior Advisor for Talent and Leadership Strategies for the company’s 48,000 employees. He’s responsible for what the future of leadership at the bank needs to look like and how to make that vision a reality.
